Treasures From Bible Times By Alan MilIard
‘The Babylonian Story of the Flood,” “King Tut, the Tabernacle and the Ark of the Covenant,” “Deciphering Ancient Writings,” “Any Sign of Moses?,” “The Writing on the Wall: Belshazzar - Man or Myth?,” “Jesus and the Dead Sea Scrolls,” “Secret Signs - a Christian Connection?” These are some of the intriguing sections in Alan Millard’s 1985 book
Millard has produced a book for laymen as well as scholars. Scores of beautiful color pictures and maps make this book not only a delightto read, but a conversation piece on the coffee table. In our opinion, it is the most useful, as well as accurate, book on biblical archaeology to come out in a long time.
He has presented all kinds of archaeological material, even when it seems to conflict with Scripture. However, he always gives acceptable suggestions which will overcome any conflict and strengthen the faith of the readers.
The British author is a qualified archaeologist, having dug at several sites in the Middle East. He is also a prolific writer, with several other books as well as articles in magazines and encyclopedias.

Rocks, Relics and Biblical Reliability By Dr. Clifford Wilson
Dr. Wilson’s primer on biblical archaeology was written for Probe Ministry’s “Christian Free University.”
This 141 page book, with some excellent black and white pictures, is full of examples of archaeological confirmations and illuminations of the Bible.
It is written in chronological order, beginning with Genesis and ending with the New Testament. As such, it acts as an archaeological commentary on the Bible.
Clifford Wilson, well-known Australian lecturer, radio and TV personality and author of many books, always comes down on the side of the infallibility of the Bible. Rocks, Relics and Biblical Reliability is no exception. In fact, it is one of his very best books. [It sells for $5.95.]
