“Be Thou Faithful. .” Revelation 2:10

Fourth Baptist Church, Minneapolis, Minnesota

  1. Be in your place - in the Bible School, in the Choirs, in the Youth Activities, in the Boys’ and Girls’ Clubs, in the Church pew - each Sunday unless prevented by some reason which you could conscientiously give to your Lord.

Acts 15:28; Hebrews 10:25; II Timothy 4:2; I Corinthians 15:58

  1. Pray daily for the program of your church and be in an attitude of prayer every time you enter the house of God.

Acts 2:42; I Timothy 2:1; Philippians 4:6; James 5:16

  1. Never engage in any conversation after entering the church which would divert your thoughts or the thoughts of others from worship.

Psalms 100:4; Psalms 46:10; Philippians 1:27; Psalms 95:6; I Chronicles 16:29; I Timothy 4:15; Habakkuk 2:20

  1. Never carry away with you from the church what you consider to be the faults of any of your fellow members. If tempted to do so, pray about your attitude and ask God to cleanse your mind and heart.

I Peter 2:17; James 3:5; 4:10–11; James 3:14–18; Galatians 6:1–10; Philippians 4:8; Psalms 34:13–14; I Thessalonians 3:12; Ephesians 4:13; Proverbs 21:23

  1. Plan your schedule to include the Thursday evening Prayer Meeting. Few Christians are so close to the Lord that they do not need a spiritual oasis in the middle of the week.
