2 Peter In Recent Research: A Bibliography
In a 1979 JETS article John Snyder called attention to the scholarly neglect of 2 Peter. To help address this situation, he provided a bibliography which he hoped would “stimulate a more aggressive and creative study of this still valuable letter.” 1 As the following bibliography suggests, there have been positive steps taken in this direction. 2 Two subsequent additions to Snyder’s collection filled out the state of affairs in scholarly analysis of this writing up to 1982. 3 What follows is a collection of various contributions made to 2 Peter research since then.
